FOOD AND DRINK

You won't go hungry during race weekend as nearly every grandstand features a food zone offering refreshments. Options include a mix of permanent bars and food trucks, each serving different culinary choices. While not all stands will have the full range of options available across the circuit, each will offer a variety of selections to suit different tastes. Visitors can bring small quantities of food and drinks, such as a bottle, sandwich, or snack. For safety, bottles may need to be brought without caps.

COMMUNICATION

Before heading to the circuit, ensure you have all essential information saved on your phone, including tickets, maps, and rider details. On Sundays, network congestion at Balaton Park Circuit might prevent you from accessing mobile data, so it's wise to be prepared. Keep in mind that you may not be able to reach friends, so plan meeting points and times in advance, just like the old days without cell phones. This will help you avoid any communication issues during the event.

NOISE

Motorsport can be extremely loud, especially when you're close to the track. While the noise levels in most grandstands are manageable, it’s a good idea to wear earplugs if you're sitting near the action. If you're attending with children, ensure they have proper ear protection like headphones to shield them from the loud sounds.

WEATHER

Late August the Balaton region typically brings warm, comfortable weather as summer slowly gives way to early autumn. Daytime temperatures usually sit between 24-28°C (75-82°F), while evenings can cool down to around 15-18°C (59-64°F). Humidity is moderate, and while occasional showers are possible, the weather is generally dry with ample sunshine.
